Empowering Dyslexic Minds

Meet Ms. Phoebe: Your Dedicated Academic Language Therapist
I’m Phoebe, an Academic Language Therapist. I teach dyslexic students ages 7-18 nationwide to develop the skills to read, spell, write for the rest of their lives. By working with me, students experience improved reading fluency, enhanced spelling accuracy, and increased academic confidence. I use evidence-based, structured multi-sensory strategies through the Sounds in Syllables program to create long-lasting change. Read on to learn how my approach helps students boost their literacy abilities, overcome reading challenges, and gain lifelong learning confidence.

Lessons
Each lesson will have twelve steps. We start with a fun warm-up, work with the alphabet sequence, conduct a visual, auditory, and kinesthetic review of previously learned material, introduce new material in a multi-sensory way, read, practice cursive handwriting and spelling, engage in verbal expression activities, listen to a book, and review work. These steps strengthen neural pathways and create new ones.
Reports to Family
Weekly check-ins are given as needed. Progress reports are delivered every 6 months. The report will cover all 12 steps of lessons, highlighting what your child has mastered and what is still in progress.
Success Builds Mastery
Watch your child's confidence grow as they gain the tools they need to become successful readers and writers.
